Technique: Plain HRCT Scan of Chest carried out on Multi detector CT scanner.
Clinical Details:
Findings:
  • The visualised lung parenchyma shows normal attenuation and architectural pattern on both sides.
  • No evidence of air-space opacities, collapse, consolidation, abscess or pulmonary mass lesion. No signs of interstitial lung disease.
  • Trachea and bifurcation are normally seen. No bronchial thickening or bronchiectasis is seen.
  • No evidence of mediastinal or hilar lymphadenopathy.
  • Heart shows normal size and shape.
  • No evidence of pleural or pericardial effusion.
  • The visualised mediastinal vessels show normal course and calibre.
  • Bony thoracic cage is normal. No lytic or sclerotic lesion in visualized bones.
Impression: CT Chest Plain study is within normal limits.
Advice: Kindly correlate with clinical findings & relevant investigations.
