Founder`s Profile

Starting his journey in medicine from the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Dr. Mukul Mutatkar is also an esteemed alumnus of the B.J Medical College (BJMC) Pune. Apart from Trivandrum, he also underwent training in Germany, Japan, USA, Australia, France, as well as UK for MRI, CT and Interventional Radiology. Being the first Interventional Radiologist in Pune, as well as an experience of three decades, his area of specialty extends to procedures including neuro and aortic interventions.
A notable time period in his career would be when he pioneered MRI at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune in 1989, which was then one of the 2 MRI centers in the country. Some other prominent hospitals that he has been associated with are Poona Hospital, Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Jehangir Hospital, Sahyadri Hospitals, Inamdar Hospital, Joshi Hospital, Ratna Hospital, Columbia Asia Hospital, Apollo Spectra, and Aditya Birla Hospital. He was also the Chief Radiologist for the Indian arm of Merge Healthcare USA. Along with his medical practice, Dr. Mukul Mutatkar is also associated with a number of hospitals where he conducts teaching sessions. He also strives to expand horizons by consulting IT companies like Capgemini for the development of IT-enabled services (ITES) in Radiology.”
