Technique: Multiplanar multiecho MRI knee has been performed.
Clinical Details:
Findings:
  • Both medial and lateral menisci show normal size, shape and MR morphology. No evidence of meniscal degeneration or tear. No signs of discoid meniscus.
  • Anterior cruciate, posterior cruciate, medial collateral, lateral collateral and postero-lateral corner ligaments appear normal.
  • No significant joint effusion, synovial thickening or intraarticular loose bodies. Hoffa’s fat pad appears normal.
  • The quadriceps and patellar tendons are normal. Medial and lateral retinaculum appear normal.
  • No collection is seen in the periarticular bursae. The pes anserine tendons are normal.
  • The visualized muscles are normal.
  • Femoral, tibial and patellar cartilage appear normal. No obvious chondromalacia patellae or osteochondral defect.
  • Trochlea show normal morphology. No evidence of trochlear dysplasia. No significant patella tilt, alta or baja.
  • The marrow signal of visualized regions of femur, tibia, fibula and patella appear normal.
  • No evidence of lytic destructive lesion, significant osteoarthritis, fracture, marrow edema or periosteal reaction in visualized bones.
  • The visualized subcutaneous and deep fat planes appear unremarkable.
Impression: No significant abnormality is seen in present examination.
Advice:  Kindly correlate with clinical findings & relevant investigations.
